Only three American College of Toxicology (ACT) Graduate Fellowships are awarded each year.

For her many contributions to the discipline of Toxicology Dr. Ludewig received this award from the Central States Society of Toxicology (CSSOT) at their 2016 annual meeting.

Three Tox students received awards at the 2016 CSSOT Annual Meeting. Two UI faculty members were guest speakers as well.

Two students received awards for their poster presentations at the Ninth International PCB Conference held in October 2016.

The July 5, 2016 issue of Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T) was dedicated to honoring Dr. Schnoor's impact on the field.

Three PhD students graduated in the spring and two graduated in the summer.

The grant supports Dustin May's research into the health effects of chronic exposure to low level natural radiation

Dr. Lehmler collaborated on the project with fellow ISRP researcher Dr. Larry Robertson, Post-Doc fellow Xianai Wu, and three researchers from the University of California-Davis.

Lee Ferguson gave a talk titled "Helping Contaminants Emerge: New Approaches for Identifying Organic Micropollutants Relevant to Ecological and Human Exposure."

Current and former Tox students gathered with faculty and staff of the ISRP at the 2016 National SOT meeting held in New Orleans.
