I'm a graduate of Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL with a B.S. in Biochemistry. I moved from the Windy City in 2018 to the delightful town of Iowa City to join University of Iowa’s Human Toxicology Program.
My previous research experience at Annis Water Resources Institute in Michigan opened my eyes to the sensitivity of our natural environment to organic and man-made pollutants.
As an aspiring toxicologist, I intend to combine my love for dangerous chemicals with my desire for environmental stewardship, hence my interest in studying PCBs as part of the Iowa Superfund Project. I endeavor to one day participate in bioremediation efforts both locally and abroad.
