Biography

I was born and raised in Chicago. I graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry and was accepted into the University of Iowa’s Human Toxicology Program in 2018. In the next year, I joined a lab that specializes in inhalation exposures and pulmonary toxicology in the College of Public Health. My current research involves studying the effects of e-cigs/vaping using various mouse models. This is a pivot from my previous research at the Annis Water Resources Institute in Michigan studying marine microbial community dynamics. I hope to continue my work in the public health sphere doing risk assessment and impactful research.
