Research description: Dr. Romitti's research interests include the behavioral (e.g., alcohol and tobacco) and environmental (e.g., pesticides) epidemiology of congenital and inherited disorders, the molecular genetics of congenital and inherited disorders, and surveillance for congenital and inherited disorders. He serves as the Director of the Iowa Registry for Congenital and Inherited Diseases.
