Research description: Dr. Lehmler studies the disposition and metabolism of chiral environmental contaminants, toxicity of perfluorinated surfactants, interaction of fluorinated materials with biological lipid assemblies, synthesis of halogenated POPs and their metabolites. Dr. Lehmler is also the Synthesis Core Leader for the University of Iowa Superfund Research Program.
