Research description: Dr. Kline's research interests include the study of the modulation of airway inflammatory responses in asthma. 1) Role of CpG oligodeoxynucleotides in the modulation of the airway inflammatory response in a murine model of asthma. 2) Dendritic cells in antigen-mediated asthma. His lab is developing murine and human (in vitro) models to evaluate the role of dendritic cells in sensitization and re-challenge with antigen in asthma.
