The Human Toxicology Program was recently reviewed by the Graduate College. Every 7 years graduate programs are reviewed. The reviews are quite detailed and look at many different things including admissions, student progress towards graduation, graduation rates, student publications, alumni jobs, student and faculty diversity, reviewing curriculum to see if it is up to date and innovative, etc.

The first step is a self-evaluation by the program. A review committee of internal and external reviewers is created. The review committee reviews the self-evaluation and arranges meetings with students, faculty, and staff to get input and look at strengths and challenges. A final report is created.

The Graduate College said “the Review Committee’s Report for the Human Toxicology Program was very positive.” It also congratulated the director and the Human Toxicology Program faculty, students, and staff on such a positive review.

Thank you to all the students, faculty, and staff that participated!
