Three Human Toxicology Program students graduated in May 2025.

Ya'u Adamu presented his dissertation entitled "Whole-body Pharmacokinetics, Maternal-Placental Transfer,  and Physiologically Based Modeling of Inhaled 2,2’,5,5’-tetrachlorobiphenyl (PCB52)" His advisor was Dr. Peter Thorne. He will be starting his Assistant Professorship at University of Texas San Antonio in July.

Valeria Cota presented her dissertation entitled "Assessment of Micropore Closure After Microneedle Application in Diverse Skin Types." Her advisor was Dr. Nicole Brogden. She wil lbe starting a position as Associate Clinical Trial Manager at Medpace.

Alyssa Daniel presented her dissertation entitled " Exploration of the role of organophosphates in depression by epidemiological, biochemical, behavioral, and epigenetic means." Her advisor was Dr. Marie Gaine. She will be continuing her position as a Environmental Lab Specialist at the Iowa State Hygienic Laboratory.
