Five Human Toxicology Program students graduated in December 2024.

Jyoti Arora presented her dissertation entitled "T Cells Enhance Natural Killer Cell Antibody Dependent Cellular Cytotoxicity." Her advisor was Dr. George Weiner. See will be starting as a Assistant Research Scientist at the University of Iowa.

Chunling Chen presented her dissertation entitled "Behavioral and Biochemical characterization of mouse models of Houge-Janssens syndrome 1/PPP2R5D-releated neurodevelopmental disorders" Her advisor was Dr. Stefan Strack. She will be starting a position as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the University of Iowa.

M M Hasibuzzaman presented his dissertation entitled "Inhalation Toxicity of Emerging, Exposomic Forms of Lead (Pb): Combining Population-Based Study with Validation Data from an Animal Model." His advisor was Dr. Andrean Simons-Burnett.  He will be starting as a Assistant Research Scientist at Perspective Therapeutics.

Vingie Ng presented her dissertation entitled "Characterizing E-cigarette Aerosol Exposure in Mouse Models of Asthma, Pregnancy, and EVALI".  Her advisor was Dr. Peter Thorne.She will be starting a position as a Senior Toxicologist at 3M.      

Michelle Wei presented her dissertation entitled "The Development, Evaluation, and Field Validation of Biocide Functionalized Nanofiber Material for the Application of Disposable Personal Protection Equipment".  Her advisors were Dr. David Cwiertny and Dr. Matt Nonnenmann.
