Dongyoul Lee

Biography

I received a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Korea Military Academy (2007) and a Master of Science in nuclear engineering from Texas A&M University (2011). I am an active officer of the ROK (Republic of Korea) Army and have been working in research on CBR (Chemical, Biological, and Radiological) defense.

“It is a great opportunity for me to join the interdisciplinary program and pursue my Ph.D. studies. I believe the program will provide me with an opportunity to enhance my experience and knowledge in effort to provide the critical services needed for the defense of my country”. After receiving my Ph.D., I’ll return to South Korea and work as a researcher in the CBR Defense Research Institute at the ROK Armed Forces. I hope that I can contribute to the establishment of defense readiness to protect people of Korea against the threat of WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction).
