Human Toxicology faculty member Dr. Ali Salem was featured in a National Geographic article on a potentially promising COVID-19 candidate.

Dr. Salem comments on the safety results of Moderna's first clinical trail involving the vaccine. Dr. Salem is a very well-known drug developer and professor at the University of Iowa’s College of Pharmacy.
