Spring and Summer Human Toxicology Graduates

Three Human Toxicology PhD students graduated in the Spring of 2016:

Claire Doskey's thesis was entitled "Towards Absolute Quantitation in Cell Culture: Expression of Dose of Xenobiotics and Capacity of Cells to Remove H2O2 with Implications to Pharmacological Ascorbate in Cancer Therapy." Claire is currently a Postdoctorate Fellow at Michigan State University.

Andrew Nelson's thesis was entitled "Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials Associated with Unconventional Drilling for Natural Gas." Andrew is currently a Postdoctorate Fellow at Sandia Labs in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Aditya Stanam's thesis was entitled "Inflammatory Cytokine Signaling Contribute to Erlotinib Resistance in Head and Neck Cancer." Aditya is a manager at Prime Healthcare Management in the Los Angeles area.

 

Two Human Toxicology PhD students graduated in the Summer of 2016:

Sabah Hassain Enayah's theses was entitled "Heavy Metals, Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) and Toxicities in Iowa Construction Workers." Sabah is currently an Assistant Professor at Thi-Qar University in Iraq.

Miao Li's thesis was entitled "Protein Adducts and Crosslinking by Reactive Metabolites of Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs)." Miao is currently a Postdoctorate Fellow at Kansas State University.
