  2. A minimum GRE score of 1100 (sum of the first two parts);
  3. For international applicants, a minimum TOEFL of 600 (paper), 250 (computer), or 100 (Internet based).

Generally successful applicants will have attained a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the sciences or engineering, and are well prepared to successfully negotiate the Program curriculum.

Applications to the Human Toxicology PhD Program are submitted via the Biosciences Centralized Application System, an electronic application system that streamlines the admissions process for 13 Ph.D. training programs, including the Human Toxicology Ph.D. program.

The electronic application system transmits your file directly to the Human Toxicology Admission Committee for evaluation.

This application is FREE.

For best consideration, please submit completed applications by January 15, 2013.

Applications received after January 15 will be considered on a rolling basis.

Information regarding application procedures, entrance requirements, financial support, and the Iowa City community can be found at the Biosciences Centralized Application System web site.

Please note that related programs of study in the Department of Occupational & Environmental Health may be found on their website.

These include M.S. & Ph.D. programs in Occupational and Environmental Health. A formal subtrack in Industrial Hygiene is also available.
